James Dennewitz is the founder & Publisher of Owl Creek Arts Center. He has written, helped direct, and starred in a  play produced at The Majestic Theatre, an old Vaudville theatre in Chillicothe, Ohio in 1996. He has written & published several books under a pen name recently, appeared in poetry anthologies, was a founding member of the Kerouc Society Poetry group in Chillicothe in 1991, Spent time as the morning DJ on WCHI and as a wedding and night club DJ through the late 80’s and early 90’s, Played in professional rock and country bands, wrote and recorded over 400 songs, wrote other plays that have been performed, and he even won Best Actor in his high school play, was in Who’s Who In Music, an 8 year award winning member of the Huntington School Band, and has spoken to thousands of students at schools professionally. He spent 3 years at Scholastic Books where he increased sales by over 50% in his territory, trained over 100 librarians, and put over 500,000 books in the hands of kids and teachers. He is working on a new novel, shopping an old one to agents, and due to publish his first in fall 2009.
